Today at New York Comic Con, the release date of Street Fighter X Tekken was revealed. The game will be hitting store shelves on March 6th, 2012 and March 9th, 2012 for North America and Europe respectively and will be for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Playstation Vita. The release date coincides with that of a certain game developed by Bioware known as Mass Effect 3. For those interested in both, it will be a pretty cool midnight release.

Here’s a new trailer for Cave Story 3D. The picture is a lot clearer than it has been in pictures and previous trailers, and is looking to be quite nice. Shigeru Miyamoto has announced that he wants to personally (man) handle Zelda for the Wii U. This more than likely means that the director of Zelda and Mario already has big plans and ideas for this game. Hopefully we get more details early on in 2012.
Silent Hill’s new installment Silent Hill Downpour has yet again been delayed. Developers believe that the game needs “more polishing before it can be released”. The effective release date has been pushed back to Quarter 1 of 2012 (most likely in February). Konami has not officially stated the delay, but developer comments as well as Amazon’s re-listing of the game with a February 15th 2012 release date, shows the change is more than likely official. This might actually be a good thing as review sites have posted hands on impressions of the TGS demo. They were stating everything felt unpolished and clunky. With a few extra months they can fine tune this title and make it one of the best Silent Hill yet! Let’s hope for the best and wait a little longer.
